Academic Honesty

  1. Productive Learning has a zero-tolerance policy regarding dishonesty, including plagiarism and cheating. These behaviors will result in a zero grade for the assignment without the ability to make up this lost work. Continued academic dishonesty may result in termination in the online program. In addition, disciplinary action will be taken should students tamper with other students’ files, use other student emails in a destructive way, or in any way attempt to tamper with the Productive Learning Online content.
  2. Students often receive help on their school work. The most common example being parental assistance. Such involvement is very beneficial and often necessary; however, it is important to ensure that the students are evaluated based on what they learn and the skills they master. If a student receives help from other individuals on their school work the teacher should be thoroughtly informed so that they can make sure to take it under consideration when evaluating a student's performance.
